Pipe and Drape Hire
Create a professional backdrop, event space or themed display with our Pipe and Drape Hire range. Our modular pipe and drape systems provide a flexible way to divide spaces, create photo areas, hide unattractive backgrounds or build a dedicated event area without the need for permanent fixtures.
We offer pipe and drape frames for hire in a range of sizes, from approximately 10ft / 3m wide up to 20ft / 6m wide. Choose a frame-only option when you already have your own fabric or decorations, or select one of our complete backdrop systems with drapes included.
Pipe and Drape Frames for Hire
Our pipe and drape frames are a versatile solution for events where you need a temporary backdrop or partition. The modular design allows the system to be configured to suit different spaces, making it suitable for schools, businesses, corporate events, Christmas parties, weddings, exhibitions, photo areas and other celebrations.
Depending on the product selected, you can hire the frame on its own or choose a complete system with the backdrop and drapes supplied. This gives you the flexibility to create your own look or choose one of our ready-to-use themed options.
Flexible sizes from 10ft to 20ft
Our standard pipe and drape systems start at around 10ft / 3m wide and extend to approximately 20ft / 6m wide. This makes them suitable for everything from a smaller photo backdrop to a much larger feature wall or dedicated event area.
If you are unsure which size you need, get in touch before booking and we can help you choose a system based on your available space and how you intend to use it.
Pipe and Drape Backdrop Hire
If you don't want to build your own display, our pipe and drape backdrop hire options make creating an impressive event backdrop much easier. Choose from ready-made combinations of frames, drapes and themed backdrops designed to work together as a complete display.
Pipe and drape is particularly useful when you want to create a professional-looking area within a larger venue. It can be used behind a stage, around a presentation area, as a wedding or party backdrop, or to create a dedicated photo opportunity for guests.
Santa Grotto Pipe and Drape Hire
One of the most exciting uses for our pipe and drape systems is creating a Santa's grotto. Rather than using a large inflatable grotto, our pipe and drape square systems allow you to create a more traditional, elegant and customisable Christmas setting using curtains, backdrops and festive decorations.
Our Santa grotto pipe and drape systems can be configured into different sizes and styled in several ways. This allows schools, businesses, Christmas event organisers, shopping centres and corporate venues to create a grotto that suits their available space and overall Christmas theme.
Choose Your Santa Grotto Theme
We are developing several different pipe and drape Santa grotto styles, allowing you to choose a look that works for your Christmas event. These include traditional Christmas styling, magical gingerbread themes and snowy winter wonderland designs.
Traditional Christmas Grotto
Create a classic Santa's grotto using rich Christmas-coloured drapes, festive decorations and a traditional Santa throne. This style is ideal for school Christmas fairs, shopping centres, businesses and community Christmas events.
Gingerbread Christmas Grotto
Bring Santa's sweet workshop to life with our gingerbread-themed grotto. Combine themed drapes with gingerbread characters, Christmas props and our Gingerbread Throne to create a fun and colourful festive experience.
Winter Wonderland Grotto
For something more elegant, our snowy winter wonderland grotto styling uses lighter drapes and festive decorations to create a bright, magical Christmas setting. This is particularly effective for corporate events, hotels, shopping centres and professional Christmas attractions.
Build Your Own Santa's Grotto
Want complete control over your Christmas display? Our pipe and drape systems will also form part of our Build Your Own Santa's Grotto packages. Choose the frame and drapes, then add a Santa throne, Christmas characters, props and other festive decorations to create a grotto designed specifically around your event.
This gives schools, businesses and event organisers the flexibility to create something much more individual than an off-the-shelf inflatable grotto.
You can find these products within our Build Your Own Santa's Grotto options, or browse the complete ready-to-hire grotto designs within our Santa's Grotto section.
More Than Christmas Backdrops
Although our pipe and drape systems are particularly useful for Christmas events and Santa's grottos, they can be used throughout the year. Create a branded backdrop for a corporate event, a decorative wall for a party, a photo area for a celebration or a temporary partition within a larger venue.
The modular nature of the system means you can adapt the display to suit different events, making pipe and drape a practical alternative to permanent backdrops or bulky structures.
Ideal for Schools, Businesses & Events
Our Pipe and Drape Hire is suitable for a wide range of customers and events, including schools, nurseries, corporate functions, Christmas parties, shopping centres, hotels, wedding venues, exhibitions, photo areas, community events and professional event organisers.
For Christmas, the systems are particularly effective for creating a dedicated Santa area where you need something that looks more like a purpose-built grotto rather than a temporary inflatable structure.
